Here is how you can pick high volatile stocks for intraday trading.
We’re going to give you a method as well as a practical explanation on to how to do it.
In the end, we’re even going to give you the names of shares that you can start trading right away.
(If you’re lazy)
But if you want to learn all this and more in detail, check out our complete course (here).
Onto the meat of the blog.
Before we get into how to pick them, we need to understand what high volatile stocks for intraday trading are.
These stocks are simply companies that have wild moves on either side.
If you’re right, you can capture even a 10% move on any given day.
Some more “Gyan” for you guys,
The measure of volatility of a stock is measured by its beta.
A beta of 1 means it moves as much as the market,
Beta of 2 means it’s 2X more volatile than the market.
There’s something called a negative beta as well.
It’s simply an asset that moves negative to the market.
A.K.A. a put option.
Coming back, we’re essentially looking for a stock with an extremely high beta.
But there’s a catch.
Even with a high beta stock, we need a liquid enough daily volume so that our orders get filled.
As we were writing this blog we came to realize that the process of finding these stocks is quite complex, and it won’t be feasible to explain it here.
So we’re just going to give you a list of 5 shares with a high beta and a liquid enough market for your orders to get filled.
They’re only going to be large-cap companies.
